The Rules
Rules of Teen Patti are simple. The game starts with each player placing a bet amount also called ‘Ante’. This amount is a pre-set minimum stake.
Next, the dealer deals 3 cards to each of the players.
After the cards have been dealt the players are given an option to play either ‘seen’ or ‘blind’. Seen means you see your cards and blind means the cards remain facing downwards.
If you decide to play blind, you must bet the ‘Ante’ amount. If the next player is also playing blind, the current stake for this player becomes your bet amount. If the next player is playing seen, the current stake for this player becomes at least 2x your bet amount.
If you are playing seen, you will need to bet at least the current stake amount (this will be the case if the player before you was also playing seen). In case the player before you were playing blind, you bet at least 2x the current stake amount.
The betting continues until one of the following happens-
- Leaving only one player on the table, all other players have folded. The remaining player gets all the chips in the pot.
- Leaving two or more players, all other players have folded and one of the players on their turn demands a show. The one with the best Teen Patti hand wins.
You must know that at online casinos this version of Teen Patti is not available. This means that players are not given an option between seen or blind. The dealer deals the cards facing upwards and here you play against the dealer. Between you and the dealer, whoever has the higher rank of cards wins.

- Flush- Also known as Color, it is formed when there are three cards of the same suit. For example, an ace of hearts, a king of hearts, and a joker of hearts.
- Pair- It is formed when there are two cards of the same rank. For example, an ace of hearts and an ace of diamonds
- High Card- It is when no combination is made and the highest card wins. For example, an ace of hearts.
